Week 26

Swinfen Hall v Super Spurs
Waldridge Park v Bromsgrove Rovers
London Elite v Glasgow 2014
Zedd FC v FC Chivas
Celyn Coyotes v Inter Derby
Oakwood Rangers v Fivehead Flyers
Tottenham Crew v Kilburn United
X Force FC v Miami Celts

It's a 3 way fight now really for the title (though not impossible for others). Leaders Inter take on Celyn, Fivehead travel to Oakwood looking to take them out the picture and London host Glasgow 2014. I can see top 2 drawing and London winning thus putting themselves firmly in title contention!
The bottom 3 are in major trouble being at least 6pts adrift. I feel they need to win this week to stand any chance of beating the drop.

Game of the day - Oakwood Rangers vs Fivehead Flyers

Bruggen Village v Taynton United
Battle Squadron v Mann United
Luosto Tunturi v Cair Paravel
Hornets v Leicester Fosse
Zombie United v Wolverines
Carnbroe Thistle v Sa Domu Cheta
Scousers v March Town United
Exeter City v FC Storm Chasers

With the name Exeter City already etched onto the division winners trophy  that leaves a fight for the other 2 spots. March Town who lost to Exeter last week travel to Scousers who are still looking over their shoulders. 2nd placed Bruggen Village host Taynton United who have lost all kind of form in recent weeks. The bottom 2 are in the real trouble spots and I see neither getting anything this week. Battle Squadron are battling to avoid the drop and they have a tough game against Mann United this week.

Game of the day - Exeter City vs FC Storm Chasers, victory could see Exeter confirmed as promoted this week.

White Zombies v AP Leamington
Inter Wyberton v Dream Vipers
Ropery Alexandra v Mearns Athletic
Thunder Spheres AFC v Santos United
Oaken Raiders v Hill Foot FC
Whitnage AFC v Askham Bryan Athletic
Robin Hood's Bay v Stainsacre FC
PSV Ajax v Inter Parkside

A huge crush for the promotion spots as 8pts split the top 10!!! A good run now could see a side take the division by the scruff of the neck! Also at the wrong end only Whitnage looks to be doomed with all to play for for other 2 spots.

Game of the day - White Zombies vs AP Leamington

Crucial Party v Forest Park
Kings Park v Hotspur Mariners
Bishops Blazers FC v Woodvale
Athletic Aces v Sky Athletic
FC Dynamo v AC Arsenal
Hartford United v Cartonians
La Chaume v Ambergate Assassins
Padiham Town FC v Alba United

After a surprise draw last week for Crucial Party, FC Dynamo cashed in and are just behind them in second, both the top 2 should easily promote from where they are now. 3rd place is up for grabs and looks likely to be either Caratonions or Alba United unless someone else springs from the pack. T64 Ambergate Assassins continue to suck every week and seem destined to sit bottom of the pack again.

League Cup Final Replay

X Force v Askham Bryan Athletic

This is a one off game and GD is NOT taken into account from first game.

Bruggen Village v Taynton United
Taynton still very much out of form and need a lift as we have been awful since top scorer was injured. We have improved from 3 straight losses to 3 straight draws (all 0-0) so work needed and a tough test this week. A win would be awesome as we need it to stop season drifting to an uneventful end. Also sure MTU would be pleased with some assistance  Team news has the great news that top scorer Sestrem is back and ready to play.

Scousers v March Town United
MTU met defeat last week to Exeter City and need to bounce straight back this week away at struggling Scousers. We are 6pts ahead of 4th but that lead could vanish quickly so really need to find the winning formula again.

Stainsacre and Robin Hoods Bay drew 0-0 and Askham Bryan won 4-0 away from home. The top of the table has really tightened up.

Carls prediction was spot on, as Inter draw with Celyn & Fivehead draw as well, after two draws we need to get back to winning ways next week, Kilburn also draw, they could do with getting back to winning ways also, experimental mode as we try & find the right formation tactics to get us back to the kind of form that won us the Div 1 title last season, ready for the start of the new Prem one

A horrible Wednesday in SS land ( an poor week actually thus far ).

MTU were pathetic with only 2 shots landing on target the rest are in the atmosphere somewhere! Maybe I do need to bite the bullet and Swap a couple of players around as the ones that have been dependable this season are hitting a sticky patch!

Taynton can at least hold their heads up as they battled hard against a very good Bruggen side but can't quite do enough to get a point from the game. I am just relieved they had a great start so we have no relegation worries.

Well done to X Force on becoming WS League Cup Champions 8) and thank you all for a smooth tournament.

London right back in the title race and with Inter and Flyers still to play each other...you just never know.

Thunder , see of Santos United still need to be more consistent with wins , to try get promotion .

Crucial have hit a bad spot and could loose top spot .

Battle squadron win again and jump out the bottom 3 for the first time ..since week 10 .

Hornets , Draw in a run of the mill game and should have performed much better .
