No one has said you won't admit when you do things wrong. You really took everything the wrong way last week, I'm sorry for any unintentional part I played in that but I was repeatedly very clear.
I was pointing out last week that managers VERY often just don't see the mistake that has been made. It happens so often with managers absolutely adamant they are not in error and then as soon as I see the text file the error is clear. It is simply a case of not seeing the wood for the trees sometimes and it happens to all of us, none of us are beyond it happening, including myself.
Hence why the proof of the sent file is always needed as ultimately it is impossible to have a friendly fail if orders are received and both teams have a game down correctly so there is ALWAYS a mistake somewhere.
Last week your "proof" amounted to your other team playing their friendly so you couldn't see you playing one game but not the other. At no point did it occur to you that that logic just as equally applied to your opponent Mike T who was in the same exact situation. Simple fact is a mistake was made and not seeing it doesn't mean it isn't there. If you had sent the proof I would have got to the bottom of it all in no time at all but you ultimately chose not to which is your choice and fair enough.
You said that you didn't send proof initially (I say initially as you still could have after the options were made very clear) because you didn't know my e-mail but there are many ways of finding an e-mail address on here (profile link, post link or just the actual Super Cup rules thread itself for example) that all escaped your attention so you are as capable of missing something as any of us so just as easy to miss something in the text file. We all, including myself, miss something that is staring us in the face from time to time, it isn't a criticism, it is simply an unavoidable truth. I know I am as likely to miss something as anyone so if you think I am criticising you believe me I am not.
To re-iterate I never said you won't admit things, just that none of us are infallible and a fresh pair of eyes can see something sometimes that we don't see no matter how hard or long we look at it. Completely different things and I'm sorry you took things so negatively when all I was trying to do was get things cleared up for the benefit of both of you
