Thanks everyone, a smooth round completed in the minimum.

Special mention for John's Rapid Gentrification side who become the first team ever to progress due to a better group record twice in the later rounds in the same season.

Two times is the maximum possible (barring basically all wpl teams entering the comp) as the semi-final and final do not count away goals as double or take into account group finishes.

On top of that both teams he knocked out this way are managed by Mike W, who must be delighted to miss out on progression twice this way in the space of 3 weeks

Congrats to Southpool whop are into the final. A sudden death match is required to split Rapid Gentrification and Charscot Wanderers.

We will also have the catch up game from the group stages next Monday between Southpool and The Academy. Consequently, next week all prizes bar the final itself should be clear.

With the game being awarded it means the worst team prize will be going to Long Eaton Terriers by process of having the worst record of any team that hasn't had a game awarded on goal scored (as in they were worse at scoring goals compared to Rapid Gentrification who finished on the same points total and goal difference). Congrats Mike T on the price.

The final commences next week as Charscot and Southpool meet.

Congrats to Matt and his Southpool side on winning this season's Super Cup.

Thanks as always to all of the managers who take part. The comp cannot exist without you all and I am very thankful so many of you put in the effort each season. Thank you all.

The next comp entry post will go up in around 4 weeks with the deadline just before week 28 so everyone knows their fixtures a good 6 weeks in advance.

Quick update on the prize money. I have decided to re-donate Charscot's winning amount ( £ 5.2mill - £ 5mill runner up and group winner prize) to the prize pool to be distributed on some of the other prizes.

Consequently the losing semi-finalists will get an £ 1.2mill each, the 9 other group winners will have their prize go from £ 200k to £ 500k and the biggest loser will gain an extra £ 300k (receiving £ 2mill).

Never my intention for Charscot to win a major prize in this comp and we did it a few seasons ago so better to spread it around as a small show of my appreciation for all of you who keep coming back and playing the comp each season.

So the prizes are as follows and should all be claimed next week bar the bril youth player. Glynn will not be paying out Cash prizes at the end of the season.
