Tables, groups etc will all be changed before next monday as Chris has dropped his two sides.

Consequently all results involving Hellis Wartha and Broadwalk United will be expunged and the groups will become 3 team groups.

With two smaller groups clearly teams there will be at a disadvantage in terms of progression in second place so one of the best runner's up spots will now go to whichever of the two groups has the better runner up.

Prize money will not change as payments have all been made so the prizes will remain as broken down on the main page.

Addendum to the above, the best runner's up spot being between those two divisions is assuming the other Chris (apparently it is a dodgy name ) actually gets back online and fulfils his fixtures as right now his teams could easily be removed from the comp and if that happens one of the group becomes a two team group

Hopefully it won't come to that but better to point out the worst case scenario now..

My only victory chalked off

Well your opponents in the group lost out in exactly the same way so frankly your situation is identical within the group to how it was before so nothing for you to complain about

Ok, all tables, fixtures etc have been updated.

Prize money etc is unchanged as previously mentioned. However, I do need to remind all managers that any team with "awarded" matches at the end of the group stages will forfeit any claim over 3rd place prize money so to those managers that have missed games (or indeed do in the coming weeks) please try to make sure you get your games played as not only does your own team suffer but you are potentially damaging another manager's team too.

Please bear in mind that only one week is given over to each round of matches to be made up so at this moment in time there are only two catch up weeks. No doubt more weeks may be added with the next 3 weeks of group matches but with most managers proving VERY reliable (thanks !) it wouldn't surprise me to see no more weeks added as the only sides I have major doubts about are Chris' right now as he still hasn't been on here this week so it appears he is still struggling.

Why is this ,surely this is punishing the wrong teams

Not that it will make a difference to me, but just seems wrong or am I (as usual) missing something obvious.
