Ok, the match has been awarded as a 3-0 victory to MTK Budapest. With the award of the match it means KLF cannot win the worst team prize officially as no team having awards for or against can win any of the prizes outside the group win in the group stages.
I should point out as a general point at this stage that I
REALLY appreciate the efforts of all those who have their friendlies down each week
AND ALSO all those who are quick to post to admit responsibility for missing a match.
Any of us can miss a match and I have no problem with that, the issue in the cup comps has always been managers who don't make the effort to admit their responsibility or even say they had matches down.
Not making the effort to post to say what they did or didn't do just gives the impression that they have deliberately missed matches and whether that impression is right or wrong it ends the same, with the manager barred from future comps as I would rather have a smaller comp that managers can enjoy because they aren't messed about than have a larger comp which drags on because managers can't be bothered to make the effort.
As things stand the one long term manager who has been banned from the comp is not alone anymore (not entirely sure he even realises he is banned but that is another story) as one manager definitely is joining that list this season.
Anyway, tables etc now updated. One more week of catch up matches and then on to the second round
